With everything that is going on, it feels to me like the world is in a big pressure cooker right now.
The pressure seems to be continuing to increase at an alarming rate. It seems no matter where I look or go, there are relentless mentions of doom and gloom. There are so many stories of pain, struggle, and despair happening with things getting worse.
It is easy to get caught up fear and worry about what the future holds, especially if you are already struggling with challenging times right now. There is a lot of uncertainty, and there is a lot that is out of our control.
I want to let you know something that I learned from my own darkest days. It was back when the Global Financial Crisis hit and we found ourselves $250,000 in bad debt. We were on the brink of bankruptcy, had a young baby and I was experiencing post-natal depression. What I learnt during these dark times, is that how we respond to situations, makes all the difference in what the end result will be.
Things were incredibly bleak for Andrew and I back then, but we didn’t file for bankruptcy. We decided to take responsibility for where we were at, despite not everything being our fault, and we decided to work out how to get ourselves out of what felt like an absolutely impossible situation.
To cut a long story short, we got out of that dark and impossible place one step at a time. But the most impactful thing we did during that time was to shift our inner game to support us in that monumental achievement.
Your Inner Game and How it Impacts Your Life and Business
I have seen first-hand over the last 14 years that I have been coaching business owners, the massive impact that inner game has on whether life will be smoother and more abundant vs. life being hard and a constant struggle.
Inner game impacts how we see situations. It impacts what actions we take or don’t take, and it impacts the outcomes that show up in business and life.
With so much uncertainty and turmoil going on in the world, it is so important that we invest in ourselves right now to help navigate whatever lies ahead. Working on improving our inner game will help us to be the leaders of our own lives and create the results that we want.
It doesn’t mean that life will always be easy or smooth, but it does mean that we can navigate the challenges that come before us with more ease, and from a place of leadership, rather than being dragged along in a disempowered state.
When we work on improving our inner game, we can navigate through the pressures of life a lot easier. We can even experience a lot of joy, magic, ease and flow along the way.
Helping people with their inner game is one of my absolute passions, because I see how much of a difference it makes. My clients literally transform before my eyes when I am helping them with their inner game. They feel lighter, have more clarity and motivation. They get their SPARK back. Plus, they can go out and create the life that they want.
