Are you avoiding marketing?

Do you avoid marketing and sales because it feels icky and NOT really “part” of your business?

I get it. You want to focus on what you are good at and serve people without having to do the uncomfortable marketing stuff.

Well let me tell you a hard truth…

Marketing and Sales will make or break your business!!

Marketing and sales brings people to you. Without clients and customers your business is as good as dead.

And without clients and customers …

❎ You aren’t helping people that need what you offer
❎ You aren’t serving those that want what you have
❎ You aren’t actually making the difference and impact you want
❎ And if no cash is coming in then, then you are probably stressed out to the max!

So how is avoiding doing the marketing serving you?

And yes, you can outsource your marketing and sales, absolutely.

… but let me tell you that even that doesn’t work out for the majority of businesses. Why?

Because if the business owner doesn’t at least GET marketing and know some of the fundamentals then it rarely works to outsource this part of your business.

You still have to be INVOLVED even when it is outsourced.

I can’t even count the vast amounts of cash I have seen flushed down the toilet because of business owners outsourcing their marketing and sales in order to AVOID doing it themselves!

Now let’s get something clear. I personally do not see marketing as…

❎ Hard Selling
❎ Selling to anyone for the sake of making cash
❎ Pushing people into something they don’t need
❎ Ripping people off with your offers

I am all about creating win-wins in business. Winning for you as the business owner – by you getting paid for the value you bring to your clients. And also winning for your clients because they get your amazing products and services that will enrich their lives and make a positive impact on them.

You can do marketing that is:
✅ Genuine and authentic
✅ Caring and giving
✅ Attracting exactly the people you can most help
✅ That works!

So you may be asking, “OK Kim, but how do I do this?”

Well there are 2 aspects to this. The Outer Game and Inner Game.

The Outer Game is about the actual marketing that you are doing. The strategies, the content, the promotions. Which doesn’t always look what you may think of marketing as.

And the Inner Game is what is going on internally. What is going on in your head and body around your business and around your marketing. Seems like an odd thing to talk about when it comes to marketing right?

But how much do your beliefs, fears and self-doubts stop you from actually doing the marketing for your business?

More than you would ever believe!

You can know the strategies, but that doesn’t mean you are going to follow through and implement. Does that make sense?

This is why the Outer Game AND Inner Game are so IMPORTANT when working through your marketing for your business.
